1.    HARIVANSH RAI BACHCHAN 

Harivansh Rai Shrivastav alias Bachchan  (27 November 1907 – 18 January 2003) was a noted Indian poet of Chhayavaad literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. Born in a Srivastava Kayastha family, in the village of Babupatti (Raniganj) in the district of Pratapgarh, he was also a famous poet of the Hindi Kavi Sammelan. He is best known for his early work Madhushala . He is also the father of the noted Hindi film actor, Amitabh Bachchan. In 1976, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan for his immense contribution to Hindi literature.

2 . JAI SHANKER PRASAD
Jaishankar Prasad (January 30, 1889 – January 14, 1937), one of the most famous figures in modern Hindi literature as well as Hindi theatre. Jaishankar Prasad was born on January 30, 1889, in an elite madheshiya gupta vaisya family in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He remained interested in literature, many languages, and ancient history, and continued studying at home; thereafter he developed a special inclination towards the Vedas and these interests are innately reflected in the deep philosophical contender/content of his works. He is considered one of the Four Pillars (Char Stambh) of Romanticism in Hindi Literature (Chhayavad), along with Sumitranandan Pant, Mahadevi Verma, and Suryakant Tripathi 'Nirala'. His style of poetry can at best be described as "touching".

 3 . SUBHADRA KUMARI CHAUHAN
Subhadra Kumari Chauhan (16 August1904 –February 15, 1948) was an Indian poet famous for Hindi poems composed primarily in Veer Ras, one of the nine Ras' (English: Flavour/Subgenre) .Born in Nihalpur village in Allahabad District in Uttar Pradesh. She has authored a number of popular works in Hindi poetry. Her most famous composition is Jhansi Ki Rani, an emotionally charged poem describing the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The poem is one of the most recited and sung poems in Hindi literature.

4 . RAMDHARI SINGH DINKAR
Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar' (23 September 1908  – 24 April 1974) was an Indian Hindi poet, essayist, patriot and academic, who is considered as one of the most important modern Hindi poets. He remerged as a poet of rebellion as a consequence of his nationalist poetry written in the days before Indian independence. His poetry exuded veer rasa, and he has been hailed as a Rashtrakavi ("National poet") on account of his inspiring patriotic compositions. Dinkar initially supported the revolutionary movement during the Indian independence struggle, but later became a Gandhian.
